The island is located at the farthest point from the south side of the Princes' Islands, and is considered the most remote. The island is completely devoid of vegetation and trees and appears as a piece of rock in the middle of the sea. It is only about 90 meters long, and includes a high hill that reaches a height of 40 meters from sea level. The island is also devoid of inhabitants, and it is called by this name because of the large number of rabbits in it, which still live until now. The island is mentioned on official maps as “Fisherman's Island” (Balıkçı adası).
